Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (“AFIRE”)

Based in Washington, DC, AFIRE is the official voice of the foreign real estate industry, representing the interests of foreign investment in the United States. Moreover, the Association has extended its involvement to include real estate investment issues worldwide. Membership in AFIRE is an acknowledgement of an institution’s standing in the international real estate community. Founded in 1988, AFIRE has adapted itself in response to the changes in the real estate industry and international investing.

Pension Real Estate Association (“PREA”)

Founded in 1979, PREA currently lists over 1,800 members, representing over 470 member firms across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. PREA’s mission is to serve its members engaged in institutional real estate investment through the sponsorship of objective forums for education, research initiatives, membership interaction and the exchange of information.

New England Women in Real Estate (“NEWIRE”)

New England Women in Real Estate is the region’s leading professional organization promoting the advancement of women within the commercial real estate industry. Since its creation in 1982 by a small group of women professionals with considerable vision, NEWIRE has been an important force behind the increasing success of women in New England’s real estate community. Equipment Leasing and Finance Association

("ELFA") was organized in 1961 and is a non-profit association that represents companies involved in the equipment leasing and finance industry to the business community, government and media. ELFA's diverse membership consists of independent leasing companies, banks, captives, financial services corporations, broker/packagers and investment banks, as well as service providers like accountants, consultants, equipment managers, executive recruiters, insurance companies, lawyers, publishers and software providers. ELFA promotes the leasing industry as a major source of funds for capital investment in the U.S. and other countries. Headquartered in Arlington, VA, ELA is a national organization with more than 850 member companies.

Arab Bankers Association of North America (“ABANA”)

ABANA is a not-for-profit professional association with members from the financial services industry in the Arab World and in North America. Through its programs, web site and publications, ABANA fosters improved relations, information-sharing and understanding between the Arab and American public and private financial sectors. Founded in 1983, ABANA is now celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary and its membership includes more than 60 institutions and 580 individuals. The membership has also expanded beyond the traditional definition of Arab banker, drawing in Arab and non-Arab professionals from the wider financial services and related sectors with activities in the US and the Arab World.

National Multi Housing Council (“NMHC”)

Based in Washington, DC, NMHC is a national association representing the interests of the larger and most prominent apartment firms in the U.S. NMHC’s members are the principal officers of firms engaged in all aspects of the apartment industry, including ownership, development, management and financing.
